I first met Leslie Nelson through Instagram—introduced by her sister—and later had the chance to speak about SEO in one of her business groups. Over a year later, Leslie reached out when she was ready to move beyond the generic website provided by her real estate company and create a space that truly reflected what it’s like to work with her.

Leslie came to the project with gorgeous branding from Venlo Studio—rust tones, earthy greens, and floral accents inspired by her love of gardening. It was the perfect foundation for a site that feels both professional and deeply personal.

We customized a template from Big Cat Creative that brought in fun movement and overlapping imagery to keep the site engaging and modern. Alongside the design, we optimized the site for SEO in the Twin Cities market so her ideal clients could easily find her. I also set up a blog where Leslie shares resources for families who are local to Minnesota—or preparing for a move to the area.

This project was all about creating a warm, family-centered online presence that mirrors Leslie’s personality as both a realtor and a busy mom. The result: a website that feels approachable, rooted, and uniquely hers.
